Naruhiro “Geish” Hori completed his PhD in Exercise, Biomedical, and Health Sciences from Edith Cowan University in 2007 and his training in Relaxation Massage and Deep Tissue Massage through Discover Massage Australia in 2024. He is passionate about supporting athletes in a multifaceted way across sports science and sports medicine.
Before joining The Exercise Therapist, Geish was a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) from 2005 to 2021, where he planned and implemented strength and conditioning programs for international, national, and developmental athletes in various Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Games sports.
Outside the clinic, he holds a dual role as a sports science assistant and trainer at Swan Districts Football Club.
